Desert Hike Day 4: A Real Team is Forming

Thursday, November 22, 2018 |  Aviel Schneider

We started our fourth day at 5 AM with a great breakfast. After eight hours of sleep, we awoke fresh for a new day. We then set off to descend the steep canyon walls into the beautiful Hava River bed. During the journey through this wadi, we were accompanied by a family of wild deer.

The hiking and climbing was challenging, but the group quickly learned to work together and help one another to overcome all the obstacles in our path. It has been amazing to see these wonderful people come more and more together as a group with each passing day.

Following a bit of quiet time, we will continue down into the Ramon Crater, where we will camp tonight.

There's nothing quite like a desert sunset.

"We're going down there?!"

Overcoming every obstacle, together.

Our English-language NEGEV EXTREME hike will depart in just two more weeks!
