International actress and model Bar Refaeli agreed to the request of Tourism Minister Yitzhak Herzog to appear free of charge for the purpose of promoting Israel’s tourism industry and participate in the opening ceremony of the Israeli booth in the international travel fair to be held in London next week.

The World Travel Market (WTM) is the second largest travel fair in the world and will be opened for four days starting November 6. The booth will include a large spa which will be built in conjunction with Dead Sea attractions where the visitors could relax with mud treatments and different massages.

Refaeli is the girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and was featured this year on the covers of some of the leading magazines in the world. Her mother and agent Tsipi Rafaeli said she will arrive especially from Palma de Majorca where she is shooting a fashion campaign for Marks and Spencer.

Bar said in reaction that she is “very proud of the privilege given to me to represent Israel around the world and for me it is a great honor to be a part of the effort to strengthen tourism in Israel. There is nothing that has to do with the country that I am not willing to do.”
