The Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades announced on Wednesday that they are exempt from the cease-fire and would continue rocket attacks against Israel, Israel Radio reported.
The military-wing of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party claimed its attacks would be in response to Israeli violations.
The Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades is one of several Palestinian terrorist organizations, refusing to acknowledge the cease-fire as long as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continues to arrest wanted terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
Other groups rejecting the truce include Islamic Jihad and Izzadin Kassam, Hamas’ military wing.
Since the cease-fire began last week, at least 16 Kassam rockets have been fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip.
