IDF troops kill Tanzim terrorist leader

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops killed Mohammed Ramaha, head of Tanzim in the Ein Bet Ilma refugee camp on Thursday.

The IDF set up roadblocks in an attempt to capture Ramaha, but his car bypassed the roadblocks, colliding with another vehicle and injuring a number of civilians. When soldiers approached the vehicle, one of Ramaha’s men began opening fire on the troops. The IDF retaliated, killing the two armed terrorists.

Ramaha has been involved in a number of terrorist attacks and attempted an attack in the Nablus area. He was involved in the planning of a future suicide bombing, which was funded by terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

Troops found an 8-kg explosive device, prepared by Ramaha just last week. Ramaha was also responsible for a number of attempted attacks in the past months, including a planned suicide bombing in Rehovot, providing his terrorists thousands of dollars to purchase weapons for the attacks.
