Delegation of Israelis, Palestinians visit China

Israelis and Palestinian representatives met in China as a part of the Geneva initiative for peace.

“The Iranian threat to annihilate Israel is not received as logical,” said the Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing in a meeting with a delegation of Israelis and Palestinians on their visit to China.

Israeli participants included Meretz Chairman and Member of Knesset (parliament) Yossi Beilin and Member of Knesset Colette Avital of the Labor Party. Also, present was Abdel Kader Hamed, former minister of the Palestinian Authority

The Chinese foreign minister suggested that the Israelis and Palestinians return to moving forward with negotiations and for Israel to make peace with Syria according to its 1967 borders.
