Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman (photo) slammed Defense Minister Amir Peretz on Monday during a meeting of the ‘Israel Our Home’ party, saying that “as long as this man is in his post, the State of Israel and its security are in severe danger.”
Lieberman went on to say that Lieberman “is engaged in political manipulations and internal struggles of the Labor Party, and this is not the defense minister Israel needs.”
Peretz attacked Lieberman, saying he needs to prove that he too can contribute something positive to the defense of the State.
“I believe that if the State of Israel is in danger, it is the danger concealed in a racist party like ‘Israel Our Home,’” Peretz said.
