Mofaz: Iran’s capabilities are progressing

Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz warned that Iran would use nuclear bombs at the moment they succeed to create them.

“The thing that needs to cause concern for us more than this is Iran’s capabilities,” Mofaz said in a speech at the Herzliya Conference.

Israel held its seventh annual, four-day Herzliya Conference on the Balance of Israel's National Security. The conference was chaired by Professor Uzi Arad and organized by the Institute for Policy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.

Mofaz noted that Iran’s intention is clear – Iran's nuclear capabilities are progressing and that once they are achieved the Islamic Republic's intentions will be realized.

“Ahmadinejad believes he is on a divine mission. I'm the last person to call him insane,” said Mofaz. “Although I am not qualified as a psychologist, it's clear to me we are dealing with a person driven by an extremist ideology, who is determined to fulfill his mission."
