Nobel Prize winner for Economics, Professor Robert Aumann, visited India as a guest of the India Development Foundation.

Aumann visited Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore. During his trip he met with the president and prime minister and delivered a lecture on “War and Peace” at the Habitat Center.

Within his lecture, he implemented his Game Theory, which deals with the behavior of man to analyze strategies for decision-making and problem solving. He said in order to respond to the development of “peace now” we need extended patience and to be prepared to prolonged conflict.

“There are many more changes directing research towards peace at an hour of war,” he said to the Indians.

Israeli Ambassador to Israel, David Danieli arranged meetings for Aumann with ambassadors and Indian guests from all regions and races.
