Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian attempting to infiltrate Israel through the security fence near the Kalandiya refugee camp north of Ramallah on Thursday morning.

When the man tried to cut through the fence, soldiers fired at his lower body. He was treated at the scene, but succumbed to his wounds and died.

Early Thursday morning two Palestinian gunmen were killed in clashes with the Israeli army in an operation in Nablus after the gunmen opened fire on the soldiers and shot at them.

The gunmen were members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and Fatah's military wing, two terrorists on Israel’s wanted list.

No soldiers were injured in the incident.

Troops uncovered a lab, finding a five-kilogram explosive device, along with materials for preparing more devices. The lab was detonated.
