Head-on collision near Hebron kills parents of eight

Eight children lost their parents last Thursday morning, when they were killed in a head-on collision with a bus near Hebron. One of the couple’s daughters was critically injured and three others were lightly injured.

Poor weather conditions were likely the cause of the accident which caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle, colliding with the bus at an intersection.

A Magen David Adom ambulance crew arrived at the scene to treat the injured. They found the parents already dead. Their critically injured daughter and the three other victims were rushed to hospital by helicopter.

Palestinians stoned police vehicles at the scene as well as the ambulances of the Magen David Adom crew that was working to evacuate the victims.
