Home Front Command drill postponed

Tuesday, March 20, 2007 |  by Staff Writer

The Home Front Command emergency drill scheduled to take place in central Israel was postponed today following warnings received on terrorists' plans to carry out an attack in the Sharon region.

Large police forces set up roadblocks at the entrances to cities north of Tel Aviv and Road 2 in the Shfa’im area was blocked in both directions when a suspicious taxi was apprehended and checked.

The high alert was later lifted and the emergency drill was reinstated.
