Israeli troops killed two terrorists in the Samarian town of Nablus on Monday night. The gunmen were members of the al-Aqsa's Martyrs Brigades and the Fatah's military wing who were shot during an exchange of fire between the terrorists and Israeli troops.

The IDF confirmed that their forces shot at gunmen in the city, resulting in at least one definite hit.

Palestinian sources said the two killed in the clashes were Mohammed Maraish and Ilah al-Raliz. The two were exchanging fire with Israeli infantry forces operating in the old city of Nablus.

The Israeli army said the two were responsible for shooting attacks and for hurling explosive devices at Israeli forces in the area.

Army officials confirmed that all activities in Judea and Samaria were against wanted Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops arrested seven wanted Palestinians through Judea and Samaria overnight. The suspects were taken in for questioning.

Palestinians hurled four explosive devices and opened fire at forces operating in Jenin and surrounding villages. No injuries were reported.
