Al-Aksa seizes Nablus property, clashes continue

Clashes continued through the night between Palestinian security officials and terrorists in the Samarian town of Nablus as police attempted to prevent Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades members from seizing property belonging to a local con man who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from dozens of Palestinian families.

The man is reportedly being held in a Palestinian Intelligence facility in Jericho where he is being questioned about his involvement in the alleged crimes.

The man is accused of offering deals to investors and promising more than 10 percent in interest return per month. Several Al-Aksa members gave tens of thousands of dollars to the man after some proclaimed they had received more than what they invested.

Word quickly spread throughout the Palestinian village and the man was heralded an “investment genius” as thousands rushed to his aid.

Suddenly, the man was unable to be located and Al-Aksa members quickly began to seize control of homes, evicting tenants and assuming ownership.

“I don't know if this will compensate us,” a source said, “my family and the families of three other members gave him almost $500,000, but the dog vanished. We will bring him in and deal with him.”

Palestinian forces attempted to prevent the terrorists from taking over, but the Al-Aksa brigades continued to fight.
