Three people were wounded in a shooting attack when gunmen opened fire at the entrance of the Na’aleh settlement near Modi’in on Tuesday, the police said.

This is the second shooting attack in Judea and Samaria in the past week. Last Tuesday, a resident of the settlement of Emanuel was wounded while waiting at a bus stop near his hometown and was later transferred to a hospital in Petah Tikva.

The three wounded in Tuesday’s attack were transferred to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, near Tel Aviv.

“A Subaru car with four Israelis arrived in our settlement,” said Naaleh chairman Meni Katz. “The driver was injured in the hand, but despite that he continued driving for about five minutes until reaching the gate.”

Palestinian sources believed that the attack was in connection to Prisoners Day in the Palestinian territories. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
