Member of Knesset Yossi Beilin (photo) visited the disputed building in Hebron and intends to submit a “bill calling for evacuation of all Jews from Hebron.”

The chairman of the leftist Meretz-Yahad party received a not-so-warm welcome by extreme right-wing activist Baruch Marzel upon the minister’s arrival to this disputed Jewish Judean city on Tuesday.

“Spy, foreign agent! You’re pals with Bishara!” Marzel shouted, in an attempt to disrupt Beilin’s visit.

The MK arrived at the town with the purpose of learning more about the daily lives of the Jewish population and the Palestinian residents, following the purchase of the disputed Hebron building.

“I intend on submitting a bill calling for the evacuation of all Jews from Hebron after the summer break,” said Beilin. “This is a new settlement, and I have been working to evacuate this deluded group since the night they invaded.”

There was much disorder at the entrance of the building itself, instigated by Noam Arnon, a spokesperson for the Jewish settlement in Hebron.

“It was you who brought us the Oslo agreement, you who brought most of the suicide bombers, and you are responsible for all of this suffering,” Arnon said.

Beilin firmly replied, “Go home crazies!”

Hebron traces its ancient Jewish roots back to the time of King David who first ruled Israel from this disputed city. It is also the home to the Tomb of the Patriarchs and their wives as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph are all buried here.
