Palestinian urges Israel to hit Gaza hard

A former Palestinian resident of the Gaza Strip said that Israel must hit the terrorists operating there with overwhelming force it if wants ongoing rocket attacks on southern Israel to stop.

"There is only one solution to this situation – a ground incursion into Gaza which will wipe out the cells launching the rockets, stay there and not leave until it's over," Suliman Qadia told Ynet.

Clearly angered by the escalating threat to himself and his family, Qadia continued, "Nothing else will work, we just need to go into Gaza, full force, and pound them, erase them completely, until it's over. That's the only language they understand and believe me – I know what I'm talking about. After all, I lived with them."

Qadia fled Gaza nine years ago after Palestinian terror groups learned he was aiding Israel's security forces. He took up residence in the western Negev town of Sderot, which is today the primary target of Palestinian terror rocket crews.
