Noah’s Ark rebuilt on Mt. Ararat

Greenpeace, an international environmental organization, has constructed a replica of Noah’s Ark on the very mountain the Bible says the great boat came to rest in an effort to attract attention to the group’s message.

The Bible says that God instructed Noah to build the massive ark in order to preserve a remnant of life in the midst of a great flood the Almighty intended to send against a wicked and decadent world.

During the dedication of Greenpeace’s replica on Thursday, a spokesman for the group called on world leaders to take immediate action against climate change and the catastrophic effects environmentalists claim it will cause in the near future.

German and Turkish carpenters volunteered to build the model of Noah’s Ark, which Greenpeace said it will leave sitting atop Mt. Ararat for use as shelter by backpackers and mountaineers.
