A large majority of Israelis are dissatisfied with the functioning of their democracy, according to the result of a public opinion poll conducted last week.
Seventy percent of those polled said they do not feel that their political representatives and leaders take the public's concerns and opinions into consideration when making decisions.
An even larger 79 percent majority said they are deeply worried about the current state of democracy in Israel, where elected government's rarely finish their terms.
