Jewish Russian banking tycoon Vladimir Sloutsker plans to start an all-Jewish 24-hour international television news network to combat the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish bias coming out of networks like CNN, the BBC and Al Jazeera.
“I believe an international Jewish television channel is a necessity,” Sloutsker said in remarks carried by Israel National News. “The Jewish community worldwide is currently facing and will face in the near future growing challenges worldwide.”
Sloutsker is also a Russian senator, and an outspoken supporter of President Vladimir Putin.
