'Don't shoot, we're not Jews,' pleads Fatah man

Further revealing underlying Palestinian attitudes toward Israel, the brother of a senior Fatah field commander pleaded on Tuesday for Hamas forces to stop their onslaught in Gaza because those being killed are not Jews.

“They're firing at us, firing RPGs, firing mortars. We're not Jews,” Britain's Telegraph quoted the boy as saying during a telephone interview with Palestinian radio.

Moments later, the boy and his brother were dragged into the street and executed by Hamas gunmen.

Hamas and Fatah officials alike regularly try to refocus the Palestinian on the campaign to kill Israeli Jews in efforts to stop infighting, a fact typically ignored by the international press.
