Bush to replace arms Fatah surrendered to Hamas

Bush Administration officials have requested that Congress unfreeze funding for arms and military training for Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah-dominated paramilitary police forces, after the latter lost most of their previous supply of US arms to rival Hamas terrorists.

Earlier this year, Washington pressured Israel to allow a shipment of guns, ammunition, surveillance equipment and armored vehicles to reach Abbas' “presidential guard” in Gaza in order to help quell sporadic Hamas violence and exert full control over Gaza's border crossings.

All of those weapons and advanced surveillance devices are now in the hands of Hamas terrorists, following the group's stunning military conquest of Gaza at the weekend.

“We informed you many times we would obtain all American arms brought to Gaza in the conspiracy against our government,” a senior Hamas field commander told WorldNetDaily.

Inexplicably, the US and Israeli administrations seem to be ignoring the possibility that such a debacle could be repeated in the so-called “West Bank.”
