UN chief concerned by Israel's defensive measures

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon insists that Gaza-based Palestinians must stop firing rocket at southern Israel, but found it unnerving that Israel itself acted last week to curb the threat to its civilians.

Ban was “deeply concerned” about the violence reported in Gaza as Israel moved against Palestinian rocket cells, killing a reported 11 armed terrorists, according to a statement released by the UN chief's office.

Seven rocket launchers were found by the Israeli incursion forces. Some were fitted with timers to minimize the risk to the terrorists.
