An Israeli company has developed a device that notifies caregivers when a person suffering from epilepsy is entering into a seizure.

BioLert, the Israeli startup behind EpiLert, told Israel21c that the device will enable to parents and caregivers to more easily monitor those suffering from epilepsy without too severely disrupting their own lives.

For older patients, the ability to detect the onset of a seizure will allow them to more safely drive and perform work duties.
