Israeli wounded in rocket attack

Sunday, January 02, 2005 |

An Israeli civilian was seriously wounded on Sunday morning when a Palestinian rocket struck the Erez industrial zone at the north end of the Gaza Strip. The rocket was fired just hours after IDF ground forces entered the northern strip in an attempt to halt a recent flare-up of rocket firings into Israel. Five Israeli civilians were treated for shock after two rockets landed early Sunday in the frequently attacked town Sderot. A home was damaged in that attack.
