Outgoing Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles Ehud Danoch was honored this week with the keys to the cities of Beverly Hills and Las Vegas.

In a ceremony at Beverly Hills City Hall, Mayor Jimmy Delshad presented Danoch with the tokens of appreciation for three years of tireless work to strengthen ties between Israel and the Western United States and the Jewish communities living there.

During his tenure as consul, Danoch forged a close relationship with Delshad, who is himself a Jewish immigrant from Iran, as well as other regional Jewish leaders.

Danoch was also the guest of honor at a farewell party at the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles attended by some 450 guests, including the mayors of all the surrounding towns and officials from the major Jewish organizations operating in the area.
