Coalition crisis continues

Israel Radio reports that the Orthodox United Torah Judaism (UTJ) party may split into its two component factions over a raging dispute about whether to join the new coalition that PM Ariel Sharon is attempting to form with it and the Labor party. This comes after Sharon warned UTJ leaders he might invite the ousted Shinui party to re-join his coaltion, producing a totally secular government that would cut funding to religious institutions.
