The Bush Administration will soon hand pick a number of American security firms to provide the forces of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas with additional advanced military and intelligence training.
US Consul General in Jerusalem, Jacob Walles made the revelation during a meeting with Palestinian journalists on Monday, reported the Associated Press. Walles also said that US President George W. Bush plans to ask Congress for an additional $400 million in US taxpayers' dollars to bail out the corrupt, terror-supporting Palestinian regime.
Earlier this month, Palestinian terrorists who also serve as officers in Abbas' paramilitary force admitted that they have utilized the training and arms provided by the US to more effectively kill Israelis.
Meanwhile, Hamas officials were confident that no amount of American training would stop their group from eventually seizing control of the West Bank (biblical Judea and Samaria) just as it did in the Gaza Strip last June.
Despite being severely outnumbered by Abbas' US-trained forces, Hamas' Iranian-trained units rapidly overran Gaza in a brutal coup lasting only several days.
"Abbas' [West Bank] regime will fall like a leaf come autumn," said a senior Hamas official quoted by Ynet.
