Ethiopian citizen wins Tiberias Marathon

Facing a brisk easterly wind but no rain, 673 runners took part in yesterdays 28th Tiberias Marathon. Habtamu Negassa Bekele, an Ethiopian national, won the marathon in 2 hours, 18 Minutes and eight seconds. Assaf Bimro of Israel was the first Israeli to cross the line after 2:20:02 hours.
