Palestinian terrorists gunned down two young Israelis who were hiking near the Judean town of Hebron on Friday.

The terrorists used an all terrain vehicle to approach the hikers before opening fire at close range. The armed Israelis returned fire reportedly killing one of the terrorists and wounding a second.

A young Israeli woman accompanying the two male victims managed to hide and escape injury during the attack. She then called Israeli rescue forces, but her two companions died of their wounds before help could arrive.

In other violence, Gaza-based Palestinian terrorists fired another rocket at Jewish towns in southern Israel on Friday. The rocket landed in an open area and caused no injuries or damage.

Two rockets landed near the southern port city of Ashkelon late Thursday night, again causing no injuries or damage.
