Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired 15 rockets and mortar shells at communities in southern Israel over the weekend. No injuries or damage were reported in any of the attacks.

On Saturday, Palestinian terrorists also attacked an Israeli army patrol along the Gaza security fence by detonating a roadside bomb against the Israelis' patrol vehicle. The vehicle was damaged in the attack, but no Israeli soldiers were wounded.

A day later, Israeli troops shot and killed two Palestinian terrorists as they tried to plant another bomb along the Gaza fence.
