Palestinian terrorists operating out of northern Gaza on Thursday fired a rocket that caused damage to a number of buildings in the southern Israel village of Yad Mordechai. The rocket landed just a few hundred feet from the community's cafeteria and medical clinic.
There were no injuries in the attack.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, meanwhile, decided to cancel a limited embargo on industrial diesel fuel to the Gaza Strip in response to the ongoing rocket attacks.
The decision came after a number of human rights organizations petitioned Israel's High Court, arguing that the embargo was unfairly inconveniencing thousands of Gazans when only a small number of them were involved in attacking Israel.
