Palestinians fire rockets, snipe at Israeli farmers

Gaza-based Palestinian forces responded to Israel's decision to ease its embargo on fuel supplies to Gaza by launching four more rockets at communities in southern Israel on Tuesday.

The rockets landed just outside the battered town of Sderot as local children were making their way to school.

Nine rockets and 13 mortar shells were fired at Sderot and surrounding communities on Monday.

Also on Tuesday, Palestinian snipers positioned near the Gaza security fence opened fire on Israeli farmers working on a kibbutz in southern Israel. Last week, snipers firing on the same kibbutz murdered an Ecuadorian laborer who was employed by the community.
