Israel National News reported this week that the Israel Policy Center (IPC), a public policy institute based in Jerusalem, has threatened to take legal action against a Tel Aviv-area school that recently began forbidding Jewish students to publicly pray on campus.
According to recent media reports, the school in question threatened to prevent students found participating in public prayers from taking important exams. Some students said they were even threatened with expulsion.
A lawyer for the IPC on Monday informed school officials that they would be taken to court if they did not immediately stop harassing Jewish students wishing to hold prayer sessions on government-controlled property in the Jewish state.
