Abbas freezes peace talks, compares Gaza to Holocaust

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas took advantage of the spiraling violence in and around the Gaza Strip to temporarily freeze peace negotiations with Israel on Sunday.

Turning a blind eye to the ongoing Palestinian rocket fire against southern Israel, Abbas attacked Israel’s military response to that terrorist aggression as an action akin to the Nazi Holocaust.

Damascus-based Hamas leader Khaled Mashal agreed, adding that the alleged massacre being perpetrated against the Palestinians is the “real” Holocaust, while the documented Nazi attempt to exterminate European Jewry was being grossly exaggerated by Israel and the international community.

Serial Holocaust denier and President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad chimed in during his visit to Baghdad, reiterating his pledge to facilitate the destruction of Israel and to bring the leaders of the “Zionist entity” to Islamic justice.
