The Palestinian Authority has launched a public relations campaign urging millions of so-called "Palestinian refugees" living abroad to converge on Israel during the upcoming 60th anniversary of its rebirth.
The campaign calls on the foreign born Arabs to arrive at Israel's borders aboard planes and ships bearing the United Nations flag to signify that they are refugees without a country.
Well over five million Arabs claiming to be the descendants of those to fled the lands between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea before invading Arab armies in 1948 have been labelled by the international community as "Palestinian refugees."
The Palestinian Authority insists they must be allowed to take up residence within Israel's borders as part of any final status peace agreement. Israel rejects the condition, recognizing that the mass immigration would demographically destroy the Jewish state.
