Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Yahoo president Susan Decker are among a star-studded roster scheduled to attend a Jerusalem technology conference next month.

An initiative of Israeli President Shimon Peres, the conference will deal with evolving technology and its effect on Israel and the Jewish world, reported Ha'aretz.

Israel is recognized globally as a leading hi-tech center, and many of the largest international technology companies - including Microsoft, Intel and Google - maintain research and development centers in the Jewish state.

In addition to leading Israeli political, financial and academic figures, the conference will also be attended by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and world-renowned Nobel Peace Laureate Eli Weisel.
