The emerging cease-fire is reminiscent of the one brokered by Abbas a year and a half ago when he became the first Palestinian prime minister. He got Islamic terror groups to agree to a truce back then, but it only lasted 60 days. By nature, any Mideast cease-fire will be fragile. For instance, if Israel raids a bomb factory or kills a suspected suicide bomber, the truce could collapse. There was one such incident today. Israeli troops uncovered a bomb-making facility in Palestinian-ruled Nablus, containing 25 kilos (55 pounds) of explosives and three suicide bomb belts.
