Pressure is on Abbas

The pressure is on Abbas to make the cease-fire stick. A success would be greatly welcomed by Washington, which needs a Mideast achievement after the setbacks in Iraq. But if Abbas fails to stop terrorism, he may find himself in the same boat as the late Yasser Arafat--without a red carpet at the White House.
