A large mob of Arab youth attacked pedestrians and motorists with stones near Jerusalem's Old City on Thursday, wounding at least one tourist.

The attacks took place near the Gate of Flowers on the northern side of the Old City and in front of the nearby American Colony Hotel.

Earlier in the day, Israeli soldiers arrested two Arab teenagers after catching them perched on the outskirts of Jerusalem with a rifle, ammunition and a telescope.

On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers manning a military checkpoint in Samaria found a 24-pound bomb in the vehicle of a Palestinian Arab trying to gain entry to Israel proper.
