Palestinian terror groups based in the Gaza Strip are training scores of local women to be suicide bombers in anticipation of the breakdown of a two-month-old ceasefire with Israel.
Israel's Channel 10 News on Wednesday carried footage of some of the training exercises, and cited a terrorist official as saying the women would be ready to take out any Israeli forces that enter Gaza in response to ongoing Palestinian rocket fire.
The women are being training by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, a traditional ally of the Hamas movement that currently rules Gaza.
Israeli military experts have harshly criticized the government of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for agreeing to the Egyptian-brokered ceasefire, which has given Hamas and its terrorist allies two months of calm during which they have openly and without hindrance imported new weapons and recruited and trained new fighters.
