A teenage Arab resident of Jerusalem rammed his car into a group of Israeli soldiers in the capital on Monday evening, wounding 15 people.
An Israeli army officer who was with the group shot the driver dead, abruptly ending the attack.
The Jerusalem Post reported that an initial police investigation revealed that the 19-year-old terrorist had wanted to marry his cousin, but when she refused he became despondent and decided to carry out an attack against Israelis.
The attacker was from the same Jerusalem village as the Arab gunman who carried out a brutal shooting at a prominent yeshiva in the capital in March.
Israeli commentators and a growing number of politicians are demanding the immediate demolition of the terrorists family home. Israel has threatened to destroy the homes of three previous Jerusalem terrorists, including the yeshiva shooter, but has yet to do so.
