Israeli soldiers shot and killed four Palestinian terrorists planting an explosive device along the Gaza security fence on Wednesday, and then left their bodies for someone else to deal with.
One Israeli soldier was lightly wounded in the firefight that erupted after the Palestinians were spotted planting and explosive device along the Gaza security fence. During the battle the Palestinians fired a number of mortar shells at the Israelis.
Independent Media Review & Analysis (IMRA) Director Dr. Aaron Lerner asked an army spokesman if Israel was holding the bodies of the terrorists, presumably to be released in a future prisoner exchange, which is the usual practice.
But an "an official Israeli security source" told Lerner that this time around the army had decided to strip the bodies of their rifles, grenades and other weapons and then just leave them lying on the Gaza side of the security fence.
