A poll conducted recently by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found that nearly half of all Palestinian Arabs support the murder of Israeli Jewish civilians in terrorist attacks.
Asked about their position on "armed attacks against Israeli civilians inside Israel," 48 percent of respondents said they either "strong support" or "support" such action. Forty-nine percent said they oppose attacks on Israeli civilians, while 3 percent were undecided.
The poll also revealed that counter to the Western view of Palestinian society as moderate and largely secular, nearly 97 percent of Palestinians see themselves as religious.
