Suicide bomber attacks anti-Israel protestors in Iraq

Middle East Muslims of different factions and sects are usually able to put aside their differences when it comes to opposing Israel. But a suicide bomber in northern Iraq on Sunday didn't seem to care that his targets were anti-Israel demonstrators.

One person was killed and 16 others were wounded when a suicide bomber rode his bicycle into a crowd of some 1,300 people demonstrating against Israel's aerial assault on Gaza in the northern Iraq city of Mosul.

Despite the fact that Mosul has been a flashpoint of sectarian violence, one of the demonstration's organizers insisted in remarks to the Associated Press that "agents of Israel" had carried out the suicide bombing.
