Louis Michel, European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, toured Gaza on Monday and told reporters that Hamas bears full responsibility for the death and destruction he was shown there.
Speaking from just north of Gaza City, Michel denounced Hamas as a terrorist organization, and urged other world leaders to follow his example.
Michel also said that Europeans and other international donors are fed up with pouring money into Palestinian infrastructure only to have it destroyed when terror groups provoke strong military action from Israel.
