Rockets hit south, Jerusalem stabbing attack foiled

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 |  Israel Today Staff

Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired two rockets into southern Israel on Monday morning causing minor damage to an area kibbutz.

Rockets continue to hit southern Israel on a daily basis, but are getting very little coverage, especially from the mainstream international media, while Israel's retaliatory strikes are regularly reported.

In other Palestinian violence, two young Arab men were arrested in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze'ev on Monday after police learned they intended to stab as many Jewish victims as possible.

A large commando knife was found on one of the suspects. Both later admitted to planning to carry out a stabbing attack against local Jews.
