Gaza rockets again, pipe bombing foiled

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 |  Israel Today Staff

Following a 10-day lull in attacks from Gaza, Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Hamas-ruled territory fired a rocket at the southern Israel coastal city of Ashkelon on Tuesday.

The attack did not result in any injuries or damage.

In other violence, a group of three Palestinian Arabs hurled a firebomb at an Israeli motorist in Samaria on Wednesday morning.

Israeli security forces quickly responded to the incident and captured the three terrorists, who were found to be carrying several more firebombs and maps of the area. Their intent was to attack numerous other Israeli motorists in the region.
