Israeli Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu's government was strengthened on Wednesday after concluding a coalition agreement with the Jewish Home party, the predecessor of Israel's National Religious Party.

The addition of Jewish Home gives Netanyahu a majority government of 69 Knesset members.

Netanyahu is still holding talks with the National Union party, which could add another four seats to his coalition.
