The weather in Israel

Monday, February 07, 2005 |
RAIN across the country and SNOW on Mt. Hermon in the Golan Heights. These rare days of precious rain are welcome after little precipitation in the months of December and January. The Sea of Galilee, Israel’s biggest reservoir has risen by another 8 cm. (3.5 inches), and is now 1.46 meters (57 inches) below its maximum level. Please pray for abundant rains in February and March to fill up the lake and all the depleted aquifers and reservoirs. Highs for today: Jerusalem: 48F (9C); Tel Aviv: 59F (15C); Eilat: 64F (18C).
