The next step following the truce is a gradual Israeli pullout from five towns in Judea and Samaria, beginning with Jericho. If it’s quiet there, Israel will pull out of other cities including Bethlehem and Ramallah, the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority. Israel has also announced the release of 900 Palestinian prisoners.
